Richard Keith Grayham, Long Lane, was born October 17, 1951, in Gamaliel, AR, to Ardo “Jake” and Lottie “Louise” (Hughes) Grayham. He departed this life on April 28, 2024, in his home at the age of 72.

Richard was a Mountain Home, AR, graduate. He went to work for Custom Head Trailers, Muellers, BoaMatic, Dayco, and Turblex (which sold to Siemens then Howden). He attended 17 workshops for management. He owned his own construction business for a couple of years, and most recently was a farmer. Richard had served on the bank board in Oscola, Iowa, the governor board for the state of Iowa, and development board for Clark County Iowa. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting with the grandkids. Richard found his Lord and Savior at a young age; he attended the Phillipsburg Christian Church where he made several friends. Richard’s close friend Gerald Farris taught him the game of Farkel, he then thought we should play it every night.

Richard was married to Debra Highfill, a union in which two children were born. He later married Vonda Willis, and with this marriage he gained three bonus sons.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Yuton Grayham; and his sister, Wanda Stafford.

Richard is survived by his wife, Vonda, of the home; his children, Aaron Grayham and Misty, Paola, KS, Amy Pargo, Springfield, Lachlan Randolph and Erin, Springfield, Landon Randolph, of the home, and Carson Willis, Long Lane; his siblings, Kenneth Grayham, Gamaliel, AR, Ronnie Grayham, Gamaliel, AR, Margaret Lyons, Mountain Home, AR, Carolyn McFarland, Clark Ridge, AR; eight grandchildren, Taylor Rich, Heather Hollingshead, Garrett Grayham, Ella Grayham, Malik Pargo, Carter Randolph, Kalli Randolph, and Axel Grayham; one great grandchild, Adlynn Craig; two lifelong friends, Barney Crawford and Dave Vanderkooi.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be before services on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Interment will follow in Good Spring Cemetery, Niangua.
