Kassandra Gay "Kassie" Bozarth
Kassandra Gay “Kassie” Bozarth, Seymour, was born June 23, 1968, to Herschel Anderson and Linda (Cooper) Griffis in Columbus, Ohio. She departed this life May 28, 2026, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, surrounded by family at the age of 57 years.
Kassie was the owner of Rusty Spur Café in Seymour for many years. She also owned and operated a dog kennel. Kassie had a great love for horses and loved to ride at Bar K Wrangler Camp anytime she could.
She is preceded in death by her father, Herschel Anderson, and her stepfather, Jerry Griffis.
She is survived by her husband, Todd Bozarth of the home, who were united in marriage in 1995; four children, Alex Morelan of Marshfield, Jessy Alexander and Nicole of Seymour, Ivan Santangilo Bozarth of Marshfield, Kristina Engelhardt and Karl of Seymour; nine grandchildren, Patrick, Sean, Allie, Callie, Bryson, Tuff, Garrett, Beau, Luke; one brother, Barry Anderson of Seymour; one sister, Katrina Merritt of Seymour; her mother, Linda Griffis.
Graveside services will be Monday, June 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.
