Leslie Wayne "Les" Detherow

Leslie Wayne “Les” Detherow, Marshfield, was born July 16, 1955, to Luther and Ethel (Thornhill) Detherow in Norwich, England. He departed this life Wednesday, July 15, 2026, in Cox South Hospital surrounded by family at the age of 70 years.

Les and his wife Cynthia owned and operated Mom’s Kitchen in Marshfield. Les was a longtime brick mason in the Marshfield Area. He was a dedicated AA & NA sponsor.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Lance Detherow; his sisters, Wilma Jo Detherow, Lori Ann Detherow; his brother, Kenneth “Buddy” Detherow.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Cynthia Detherow, of the home; his children, Leslie Detherow-Smith and Cody of Marshfield, Christina Detherow and Ryan Counts of Marshfield; Jessica Hunt and Eric of Marshfield; Becky Dugan and Mike of Marshfield; Chris Grant of Springfield; Joseph Hutton, Jr., of Marshfield; his sister, June Hurst of Republic; his mother-in-law, Judy Luttrull of Marshfield, his grandchildren, Morgan, Marley, Chandler, Mayci, Makinly, Cayden, Braden, Graylin, Natalie; his great grandchildren, Keira, Truett; and several other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., in Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.
