John Wesley "Butch" Dishman

John Wesley Dishman “Butch”, Strafford, was born September 25, 1949, son of Wes and Mary (Davis) Dishman. He passed away April 13, 2025.

Butch worked at Hutchens Industries for 50 years. He loved being on his farm and spending time outdoors with his family. “Big PaPa” was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Dishman; his son, Bobby Dishman and his wife Sheila. His grandchildren, Gary Milligan, Ryan Dishman and Jennifer, Lane Dishman and Mikayla, Zach Dishman and Madilynn, Lexi and Michael Seery and Tiarra Bommarito. Great-grandchildren, Hailey Milligan, Matthew Milligan, Nancy Milligan, Jaela Dishman,  Memphis Dishman, Ruxin Seery, Miley Dayle, Jayden Wells, and one on the way in July. Two brothers, Larry Dishman and wife Linda and Jerry Dishman and wife Teresa and a sister Marimartha (Tootie) Kemper and her husband Ronnie. And many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, with interment following in Dishman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2025, in the funeral home.
