Dorothy Ann (Gill) Crewse, Fordland, MO, was born May 10, 1951 in LaGrange, GA to Hobson and Ada (Pike) Gill. She departed this life on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 67.

Dottie was married to Gene Crewse on November 21, 1969. To this union, three children were born. Dottie enjoyed cooking and baking. Her homemade rolls were her specialty. She took these, along with her chicken and noodles to church dinners. She was a member of Ozark First Free Will Baptist Church. Dottie worked as a special education paraprofessional, and was a member of the Missouri State Teachers Association. She loved shopping, especially for clothes and shoes, and loved her puppies. Her family and friends will deeply miss her presence. She was a constant supporter of her family, especially her husband.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Hobson and Ada Gill; her sisters, Christine Mitts and Alma Ruth East; her brother, Eugene Wilson; and her nieces Christy Gill and Sheila Jo Crisp.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Crewse, of the home; her children, Andy Crewse and his wife, Kelly, Moore, OK,  Amy Thompson and her husband, Jeff, Nixa, MO, and Anna Panduku and her husband, Kenny, Noblesville, IN; her siblings and their spouses, Eddie and Delores Gill, LaGrange, GA, Peggy and Willie Adamson, Mountain Grove, MO, Rachel and Donald Parker, LaGrange, GA, Carolyn and Keith Prince, Hogansville, GA, and Lisa and Ricky Matthews, LaGrange, GA; her grandchildren, Megan, Haylee, Hannah, Jamie, Grant, Carson, Caleb, Caden, and Colin; her great-grandchild, Kaily; her nephews, nieces, and cousins; a host of friends; and her church family.

Funeral services for Dorothy Crewse will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2018 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, MO, with interment following at Fordland Cemetery. Visitation will be before the funeral from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday.
