Geraldine Johns
Geraldine Johns, Marshfield, was born April 14, 1929 in Rogersville, MO to John and Lela (Roller) Ingram. She departed this life on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, in the Ozark Nursing Center at the age of 89 years, 10 months, and 29 days.
Geraldine worked for Sears doing custom drapery. She was a member of Springhill Baptist Church. Geraldine was a pianist for the Victory Quartet, and for many churches, including Bethel Fellowship, where she currently attended.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather who raised her, Conley Richardson; her husband, George Johns; and her brother, Jerry Richardson.
Geraldine is survived by her son, Jackie Johns and his wife, Judy, Marshfield; her daughter, Delores Burr and her husband, Gary, Springfield; four grandchildren, Shelley Burr, Jeff Johns and wife, Missy, Donna Allen, Joey Johns and wife, Heather; 10 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Doris Gibson and husband, Larry, Fordland; and sister-in-law Goldie Richardson, Oldfield.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., with interment following at Sparta Cemetery. Visitation will be before the funeral from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
