Anthony Howard "Tony" Harrison
Anthony Howard “Tony” Harrison, Marshfield, was born May 26, 1966, in Marshalltown, Iowa. He departed this life June 13, 2026, in his home at the age of 60 years.
Tony was the kind of person who never met a stranger. With his warm smile, easygoing nature, and genuine interest in others, he made friends wherever he went. Nothing meant more to Tony than his family. The time he spent with family brought him his greatest joy, and the memories he created with them will be treasured forever.
At the center of Tony’s life was his faith in God and his love for Jesus Christ. His faith guided the way he lived, the way he treated others, and the way he loved his family. He believed in showing kindness, offering encouragement, and helping anyone who needed a hand.
Tony had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found peace in the simple beauty of God’s creation. Whether he was sitting by the water with a fishing pole in hand or simply enjoying nature, he felt most at home outside. Fishing wasn’t just a hobby—it was one of the many ways he connected with the people he loved.
He also had a deep love for history and was a lifelong learner who enjoyed sharing knowledge with others. Tony could spend hours talking about the past, telling stories from different eras, and helping others understand the lessons history has to offer.
Tony was also an avid stamp and coin collector. He was fascinated by the stories, history, and connections to the past that each piece carried. His curiosity fueled a lifelong passion for collecting, and he loved sharing rare stamps, old coins, and historical insights with others, always finding joy in helping people see the value in preserving the past.
Some of his favorite moments were the simplest ones—settling in with a bowl of popcorn and a good movie, especially when surrounded by family and friends. Those quiet times filled with laughter, conversation, and togetherness were among his most treasured.
While we mourn his passing, we find comfort in knowing that Tony is now home with the Lord he loved so dearly. His life was a testament to faith, love, kindness, and the importance of cherishing every moment. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on in the family he loved, the friends he treasured, and the many lives he touched.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Frances Harrison; his son, Robert Joel Harrison; his daughter, Crystal Michelle Valdreau; his in-laws, Don and Pam McCullough; and grandchildren, Myryah and Filicity.
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Kelley Harrison, of the home; his siblings, Robin, Greg, Jason and wife Jenny; his children, Michael Harrison, Micki Harrison, Jon Harrison, Joseph Wilson, Lucas Harrison, William Valdreau and wife Brandy, Cammie Valdreau-Townsend and husband Philip, Anna Valdreau, and Kenny Valdreau; grandchildren, Michael J, Makayla, Malissa, Melony, Emily, Haliegh, Kiara, Tilque and wife Payton, Levi, Tristen, Aiden, Lylyth, Jaydyn, Kiylley, Alden, Clay, Meguell, Sirinity, Willow, Ginica, Kobee, Brooklyn and Caden; ten great-grandchildren; and many beloved extended family members and friends.
