Ida May Bell

Ida May Bell, Marshfield, MO, was born November 3, 1941, in Stockton, MO, to Burl and Ruby (Wilson) Barton. She departed this life on October 13, 2017, near Marshfield.

Ida was married to Roy Bell for 51 years. She was an avid reader, and loved to crochet. Her passion in life was her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters. She loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and was a long time Med Tech at White Oak Villa Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Ruby Barton; her husband, Roy Bell; four sisters, Annie Alexander, Fay VanDoren, Dorothy Jean Willis, and Carol Joan Barton.

She is survived by two sons, Jerry Stephen Bell and his wife, Emma, Marshfield, MO, and Todd Burton Bell and his wife, Nancy, Marshfield, MO; three daughters, Tammy Fay Sees and her husband John, Marshfield, MO, Tina Lee Stone and her husband, Tom, Rogersville, and Kara Sue Fitch and her husband, Tom, Rogersville; two brothers, Mark “Buddy” Barton and his wife Julie, and Lloyd David “Cooter” Barton, all of Marshfield; seven sisters, Bonnell Carroll, Salem, OR, Fontella Grigsby and her husband, Bill, Kansas City, MO, Opal Worley, Springfield, MO, Susie Page, Marshfield, MO, Johnnie West and her husband, Danny, Marshfield, MO, Bethel Bagley and her husband, Larry, Walnut Grove, MO; and Marilyn “Jody” Bagley and her husband, Tom, Marshfield, MO; seventeen grandchildren; and thirty-two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Fordland, MO, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2017, at the funeral home.
