Ina Joy Lander, Fordland, MO, was born August 4, 1937 in Grovespring, MO to Vernon and Ethel (Knost) Kinkade. She departed this life on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MO at the age of 80.

Ina was united in marriage to Lawrence Lander on July 31, 1956. To this union, two children were born. The family ran a dairy farm, and she worked at different times as a hairdresser, a manager at Western Sizzlin in Lebanon, and at H.D. Lee as a seamstress. She loved sewing, making many things for her beloved family, as well as gardening, cooking, and embroidery. She enjoyed square dancing, and going to square dance festivals. She also enjoyed spending time at the Oldfield Opry, and Northview and Rogersville Jams. Ina was of the Catholic faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sisters, Clara Gray, Vera Williams, and Glenda Gidden; her brother, Don Kinkade; and her granddaughter, Bridget Sue Lander.

Ina is survived by her husband, Lawrence William Lander, of the home; her children William “Billy” Francis Lander and his wife, Pamela Sue, Grovespring, MO, and Catherine Lander, Marshfield, MO; five grandchildren, Brandy Ann (Lander) Wrinkle, Brittany Joy (Lander) Sein, Christopher Jensen and his wife, Amy, Eric Lander, and Jacob Lander; four great-grandchildren, Emry Jensen, Wren Jensen, Mackenzie Sue Wrinkle, and Thomas William Wrinkle; and her brother, Glen Kinkade and his wife, Sue, Columbia, MO.

Funeral services for Ina Lander will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018, in Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, with burial following in Brahm Hall Cemetery, Grovespring. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2018 in the funeral home.
