Pat Jenkins

Patricia Ann “Pat” (Galloway) Jenkins was born on July 20, 1935, to Ralph and Elizabeth Galloway in Pleasant Hill, Illinois, and passed away in Springfield, Missouri on November 3, 2025, at the age of 90 years, 3 months and 14 days. She was a longtime resident of Niangua and Marshfield, Missouri; she had also lived in Illinois and California.

Pat was the beloved wife of Kenneth “Ken” Jenkins, whom she married on April 21, 1984. Ken preceded her in death in 2021. 

At a young age Pat accepted Christ as her savior and served Him in many ways through her church and other volunteer opportunities. Pat loved Bible study and was always an avid participant in Sunday School.  She had the Fruits of the Spirit (Galations 5:22-23) memorized and certainly exhibited them all.

Pat had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed driving dirt track figure eight stock car races in California in the late 1960’s as well as many years raising and training fox trotters with Ken at their “Shake and Gait Foxtrotters” ranch in Norco, California and later in Niangua.

The surviving members of the Jenkins and Jones families ask in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Forgotten Initiative, a foster care ministry in Webster County that Pat has volunteered with for many years and may be left in care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 85, Marshfield, MO 65706.

Graveside services for Pat Jenkins will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
