Larry Edward Nunn, son of Truel Nunn and Verba (Manar) Nunn, was born May 15, 1940 near Marshfield.  He passed away at 7:14 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2018 in the Cox Medical Center South, Springfield,at the age of 78.

 Larry married Rosalee Wickersham on September 10, 1960 in Springfield, MO.

 Many within the community remember Larry best as the owner of Nunn’s Body Shop, which he operated for over 40 years.  Larry accepted the Lord as his Savior at a young age and was a member of Temple Baptist Church.  He was a life long farmer, with a love for sports, a passion for music, and a philanthropic heart which he continuously gave back to the community.  One of Larry’s gifts to the community includes the building of the Frisco Ball Park, which several generations have enjoyed playing / watching league play and ball tournaments.  Larry was an entrepreneur, inventor and artist, where he focused his time in retirement making rocking horses, quilt racks, and other wood creations for his family and friends.  Larry had a heart of gold and would do anything to help someone in need.  Most of all he loved his family and had a special place in his heart for the kids.  He was the instigator of many family reunions and if you ever attended one, you will never forget the Nunn Family 4th’s.  

 Survivors include his wife, Rosalee of 58 years; three children and their spouses, Cheryl and Ricky Deckard of Marshfield, Jeff and Rose Nunn of Scottsdale, AZ, and Leslie and Junior Stigall of Marshfield; eight grandchildren, Ashley and Xolali Togbi-Wonyo, Wesley and Allison Deckard, Megan Baldacci, Nikki Baldacci, Tony Baldacci, Melany and Anthony Sims, Carley Stigall and Colten Stigall; three great grandchildren, Eli, Uriel, and Anna Togbi-Wonyo; three brothers, Kenny and Judy Nunn of Memphis, NE, Jim Nunn of Niangua, and Sam Nunn of Marshfield; three sisters, Irene Byrd of Marshfield, Joyce and  Butch Waller of Marshfield, and Martha Taylor of Raleigh, NC; and many other relatives / friends.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, DeEtta Burney; one sister-in-law, Arlene Nunn; and one brother-in-law, Bill Byrd.

 Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2019 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.  Interment will follow in the Marshfield Cemetery.

 Visitation will be from 6 - 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Place Children's Home, and can be left in care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 85, Marshfield, MO 65706.
