Lonnie Lee Floyd, Marshfield, was born October 13, 1932 in Canton, OK, to Leslie and Naomi (Wilhite) Floyd. He passed away July 18, 2017, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

Lonnie was a veteran of the United States Navy and served during the Korean War. He worked for Imperial County Department of Public Works and retired in 1988 as Road Superintendent after 37 years of service. He attended First Baptist Church in Marshfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 62 years, Lula; three brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Blanchard and her husband, Dave, Brighton, CO, Brenda King and her husband, Ted, Seneca, MO, and Beverly Doyle and her husband, Steve, Commerce City, CO; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, Dean, Ilo, and Milo Floyd, all of Texas, and two sisters, Sharon Cianelli and Shirley Richardson, both of Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield MO. Visitation will be held before the service, from 10 to 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, Marshfield.
