Stephen Nichols

Stephen Curtiss Nichols, Niangua, was born on June 7, 1964, in St. Louis, MO, to Stephen Ray Nichols and Carol Ruth (Spence) Ranberger. He departed this life on May 26, 2025, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 60.

Stephen was a truck driver for Estes Express Lines.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Shannon (Jennings) Nichols, of the home; four children, Misty Rifenburg, Niangua, David Rifenburg, Niangua, Stephanie Clark, Springfield, and Tyler Nichols, Niangua; his sister, Tracey Lenac and husband John, NC; his brother, Brett Nichols, MO; two grandchildren, Clifton Stoeppelmann and Travon Austin; and several other friends and relatives.

Graveside services for Stephen Nichols will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025, in Marshfield Cemetery, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be before services from 1-2 p.m. in the funeral home.
