Rayetta Cox, Marshfield, was born March 4, 1932 in Union City, MO to Raymond and Helen (Hanafin) Perkins. She departed this life on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Webco Manor at the age of 86.

Rayetta was dedicated to her family and her church, and spent much of her time worshiping God and reading her bible. She enjoyed basketball, especially the MSU Lady Bears. Rayetta liked going home to Clever, and reminiscing about days gone by and how she and her husband, Lester, met. Her family will miss her stories. They will also miss her reassuring comfort at the right time. She could empower you, and was always praying for her children and grandchildren. Rayetta worked for many years on the factory line at Sweetheart Cup. She was a member of Marshfield Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lester; son-in-law, Jim Phillips; and great grandson, Cashton Phillips.

Rayetta is survived by her children, Zendola Jean Potter (Jay), Charlottesville, VA, Kenola Rae Phillips, Lowell, IN, and Kenneth Raymond Cox (Kelly), Seymour; siblings, Phyllis Williams (Harold), Ozark, Joy Rene Speak (Ronnie), Branson; her grandchildren, Kristy Hall (Jerry), James Phillips (Stephanie), Timothy Hall (Tracey), Heather Phillips, and Kyle Cox (Tiffany); great-grandchildren, Sarah Stack, Abby Hall, Catie Hall, Claydon Phillips, Ryan Stack, Delaney Hall, Elyse Cox, Chayson Phillips, and Sofia Jiminez; several nieces, nephews, church family and many friends.

Funeral services for Rayetta Cox will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 16, 2018, in the Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., with interment following in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Clever, MO. Visitation will be Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 6-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
