Glenda Sharp

Glenda Sharp left this world on August 15, 2025 to be with her Savior. She was born June 3, 1937 to Harold and Lillian (Barker) Haubein in Lockwood, Missouri. Glenda was baptized and confirmed in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lockwood. At her death she was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Marshfield, MO.

After graduation from Lockwood High School, Glenda moved to Springfield where she was employed by the Springfield Credit Bureau for 19 ½ years. While in Springfield, Glenda met the love of her life, Charles Sharp. They were married on Easter Sunday, April 1957. Glenda left Springfield to join Charles in Washington while he was in the army. After Glenda left the Springfield Credit Bureau, she was the Secretary to the Superintendent at Fair Grove Schools until retirement. After retiring, Glenda continued to be very active in their church. Glenda was especially active in the Heart and Hands Craft Group.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; her brother, Wendell Haubein; three sisters-in-law, Georgia Haubein, Jeanne Odem and Margaret Burrell. Glenda is survived by her brother, Dennis Haubein and his wife Patti; Her sister-in-law, Dianne Haubein; a sister-in-law, Pat McKinnis and her husband, Larry; a brother-in-law, Norman Burrell and his wife, Betty; nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends too numerous to mention.

The Haubein family is indebted to Leon and Chari Burrell for their unwavering devotion to Glenda prior to and during her illness.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025 in Mt. Comfort Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be from 6-7:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025 in Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.
