Ernest "Ernie" Underwood

Ernest Edward Underwood, Marshfield, was born on July 22, 1954, in Davenport, IA, to Paul and Clara (Love) Underwood. He departed this life on July 2, 2026, in his home at the age of 71.

Ernie was a self-employed welder. He served in the United States Navy during Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Kendra Lin Underwood and Patience Marie Underwood-Leigh; three brothers, Floyd Eugene Underwood, Jonthan Andrew Underwood, Harvey Joseph Underwood; and infant siblings.

Ernie is survived by his wife, Lois Underwood, of the home; daughter, Heather Rene Kelderman, Seymour; brother, Paul Ethuel Underwood, Jr., OK; five grandchildren, Deacon Albert Underwood-Stubblefield, Ocean Ethuel Underwood-Stubblefield, Aqua Lin Underwood-Stubblefield, KeAuna Rane Fullington, Jacob Martin Stubblefield; three great-grandchildren, Jakob, Jonah and Jaxtyn; many other relatives, friends, and chosen children.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, MO.
