Marcella Anne Thomas-Witte

Marcella Anne Thomas-Witte, of Marshfield, MO, was born on December 2, 1958, in Big Spring, Texas to John Adams, Jr. and Denyse (Shrubar) Adams. She left this earthly home to join her Heavenly Father on August 24, 2026, at home surrounded by her family.

Marcella was baptized and followed the Southern Baptist faith. She was a member of Osage Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 46 years, Harry J Thomas; and an infant sister, Loretta Adams.

Marcella is survived by her husband, Tim Witte of the home; three children, Christopher Jay Thomas and Michelle of Marshfield, Michelle Keller of Rogersville, and Alisha Thomas of Marshfield; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, David Adams of Grandbury, TX, and Martin Adams of Cleburne, TX; her cousin, Diane Bresnahan of Oklahoma City, OK; and several other relatives and friends.

Marcella loved living on the farm and was a cat lover. She was a paralegal for over 30 years with several law firms, including Newberry, Haden, Cowherd and Bullock, LLC. When she wasn't working, she loved to travel, going to the lake and fishing, riding four wheelers, and going to the beach.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2026, at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. A private family burial will be in the Marshfield Cemetery.
