Thomas Milton Barnes

Thomas Milton Barnes was born on March 20, 1942, in Marshfield, MO to George and Imogene (Welch) Barnes. He departed this life on August 1, 2025, in the Strafford Care Center, at the age of 83.

Tom was an account manager at Hillyard, Inc. for 37 years. He had served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was also an active member of the Marshfield Christian Church and the Marshfield Optimist Club. He was a member of the Webster Masonic Lodge #98 in Marshfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda; his brother, Robert; and his brother-in-law, John Manary.

Tom is survived by two sons and their wives, Tom Barnes, Jr. and Robin of Marshfield; and Jason Barnes and Holly of Marshfield; his sister, Kitty Manary of Marshfield; three grandchildren, Alexus Barnes-Chaves and Francisco of Costa Rica, Brett Barnes and Becca of Republic and Jordan Barnes of Marshfield; two great-grandchildren, Violet Chaves and Levi Barnes.

Funeral services for Tom Barnes will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 11, 2025, in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, with interment following in Marshfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time Monday in the funeral home.
