Geraldine M. "Geri" Bennett

Geraldine Maxine “Geri” Bennett, daughter of Everett Raymond and Freda (Hyder) Bennett, was born July 20, 1958 in Marshfield. She passed away at 9:26 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2026 in her home in Springfield at the age of 67.

Geri was a long time seamstress at York Casket Company. Geri loved horses and her dogs. Geri would ride her horse around her parents farm when she was a girl. Geri loved planting flowers and tending them when she felt good.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jerry Bennett and one sister, Marline Deckard.

Survivors include her wife, Mashella; her beloved dog, Pepper; one sister, Charline Adams and her husband Harold, Marshfield; one brother, Ronald Bennett and his wife Theresa, Marshfield; one sister in law Marla Zahner Willard; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Celebration services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, with visitation following the service.
