Jerry D. Branstetter
Jerry Dee Branstetter of Marshfield, Missouri, was born on August 3, 1938, in Hartville, Missouri to Homer and Beula (Mitchell) Branstetter. He departed this life on March 30, 2026, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri at the age of 87.
Jerry was a cattle farmer. He was also a custom home builder and school teacher. He served in the United States Army. Jerry was an active member of Marshfield Church of Christ.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Johnnie Branstetter; one sister, Ruth Ann Wilson; brothers-in-law Truman Coltrane, Gary Williams and Carl Shaver; brothers and sisters-in-law, Darrel and Janette Hudson, Irene and Gene Wilson.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Carlene (Hudson) Branstetter, of the home; two sons, Wesley Branstetter and Gregory Branstetter, both of Marshfield; one granddaughter, Madilynn Lawson and Zach Dishman of Marshfield; and two great-grandchildren, Miley Alexander and Memphis Dishman; sisters Darlene McMillion and Cleve of Conroe, TX, Helen Coltrane of Marshfield, Irene Rogers of Springfield, Beverly Williams of Republic; sisters-in-law, Ilene Shaver of Grovespring and Shirley Branstetter of Bolivar; brother-in-law Joe Dale Wilson and wife Jana of Seneca; and many other family and friends.
Funeral services for Jerry Branstetter will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Visitation will be before services from noon-1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow services in Shaddy Cemetery, Grovespring.
