James "Fred" Crews
James “Fred” Crews, of Niangua, was born on December 21, 1959 in Palestine, AR, to James and Wanda (Hooker) Crews. He departed this life on June 8, 2026, in his home at the age of 66.
Fred was a Niangua High School graduate. He served in the United States Army and was a concrete worker.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Crews, and his sister Gale Comer.
Fred is survived by his mother, Wanda Crews of Niangua; his brother, Steve Crews and wife Michelle of Niangua; nieces and nephews, Angel Hamilton and Jason of Niangua, Randy Crews and Reva of Springfield, Britteny and Daniel Henslee of Marshfield, Jaren & Jaycee Hamilton of Niangua, Brock Henslee of Marshfield, Parker Henslee of Marshfield, Cohen Crews of Springfield; and brother-in-law, Robert Comer of Niangua.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Fraker Funeral Home Inc., Marshfield, with interment following in Black Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be before services from 10-11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
