Bonnie Jean Gallagher

Due to inclement weather, funeral services will be delayed until 1:00 PM Monday for visitation and 2PM for services.

BONNIE JEAN GALLAGHER, the daughter of Marion and Ruth (Lane) Hunt, was born on May 23, 1936 and passed away at her home in Springfield on January 16, 2024 at the age of 87.

Bonnie was united in marriage with Leslie Floyed Gallagher and to this union two children were born.  Leslie preceded her in death on October 31, 2021.

Tending to her home and raising her children and loving her husband was Bonnie’s joy in life.  During her free time she enjoyed working different crafts, watching her soaps, and anything with Chuck Norris and John Wayne “The Duke”!  She especially loved time with her family and grandchildren.  She loved having any attention being paid toward her.  She was always very particular about her appearance and ready to eat fried chicken at a moment’s notice.

She is survived by her son: Ronnie Gallagher, of Phoenix, AZ; her daughter, Debbie Gallagher, of Springfield; three grandchildren: Ronnie Gallagher, Jeremy Witcher and Sean Ozier; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and one sister, Connie Hunt, Phoenix, AZ.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 22, 2024 in the Chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, 1131 State Hwy A, Marshfield, MO 65706.  She will be laid to rest in the Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation will be before the funeral service, from 1-2:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
