Dustin Dwayne Richards was born to Don and Cheryl Richards in Springfield, MO October 3rd, 1981 and departed this life at the young age of 42 on January 9th, 2024 

He was preceded in death by Grandparents, Smokey & Jerry Jackson. Mother, Cheryl Richards. 

He leaves behind his Dad, Don Richards of Springfield. Brother, Brandon & Alisha Richards of Marshfield. Sister, Stacy & Aaron Burdick of Springfield. Half sister, Kyla Richards, Springfield. Son Brantley of St.Louis. Four Nieces, Alexus, Brooklyn, Britney, Alivia. Nephew Blake. And two great nieces Malaiyah and Magnolia. Aunt Barbara Light and spouse Bill Price. Uncles Chuck and Dawn Light, Dale and Jennifer Jackson, Doug and Tonya Jackson, Tim and Amy Jackson. 

Dustin grew up in Marshfield, MO. He loved playing sports in high school including football and baseball. His greatest love was for baseball, winning many awards with his childhood team "The Renegades."

Dustin was proud of his heritage as a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. In 2015 Dustin suffered a tragic accident leaving him with a Traumatic Brain Injury that dramatically changed his life, leaving him unable to work. Dustin lived out his life in Marshfield taking care of his dog Trouble and enjoying time spent with family and friends until his passing, due to cardiovascular disease causing a heart attack in his sleep. Dustin will be greatly missed by his many friends and family who loved him. 

Memorial services for Dustin Richards will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. in Marshfield.
