Donna Lou Galloway

 
 

Donna Lou Galloway of Rogersville was born July 18, 1935, a daughter of William Gerald and Wilma Mae (Johnson) Burks in Henderson, Missouri.  She passed away one day after her 90th birthday on July 19, 2025, in her home surrounded by family.

She was united in marriage to David “Dale” Galloway on May 15, 1953 in the United Methodist Church in Rogersville.  He preceded her in death on July 13, 2025 after seventy-two years of marriage.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and two siblings, William Earl Burks and Annabelle Loveland.

She is survived by her children, David Leon Galloway (Betty June), Donald William Galloway, Douglas James Galloway (Sarah Elizabeth), Deana Gayil Vinyard (Russ); her grandchildren, Uriah, Kylee, Cheyenne, Dakota, Sheridan, Hunter, Carson, Claire, Benjamin, Ethan, Jacob; her great grandchildren, Cameron, Samuel, Patrick, Elijah, Corbin, Kastin, Jackson, Collins, Emmett, Traden, Colter, Myla, Willow, Kampbell, and Coleman; her sister-in-law, Betty Burks; and many nieces and nephews.

Donna was active in the Rogersville PTA. She was a member of Panther Valley Extension Club for seventy years. She was a 4-H leader and taught many children to cook through the years. Donna was a member of Antioch Church of Christ where she was a Sunday School teacher and taught kids how to pray. She was a farm wife on the family’s Century Farm in Rogersville. Donna served as chairwoman for the Webster County Republican Committee and served for sixty years as an election judge.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 23 , 2025, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Visitation will be before services Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., in the Funeral Home.

A private family burial will be in Panther Valley Cemetery, Fordland, Missouri, at a later date, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.

The family would like to thank Anna, Terri, Jamie, Jeff and Ruth at Compassus Hospice for their loving care during such a difficult time.
