Joanne Gilley

Joanne Gilley of Marshfield was born February 11, 1941, to Derrell, Sr., and Frances (Qualls) Bryant, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She departed this life Friday, December 26, 2025, at Jacob’s Ladder, surrounded by her family in Springfield, at the age of 84 years.

Joanne was a member of Ohio Street Full Gospel Church in Michigan City, Indiana. Over the years she worked at JCPenney, Carson Perry Scott, JMAR – Ruby and Gateway all in Michigan City, IN.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Gilley; her parents; her sister, Bobbie Hall; and her brother, Darrell Bryant, Jr. and his wife Carol, her grandson Justin Gilley.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Jones of Marshfield, Scott Lawson of Marshfield; her daughter, Natalie Gunn of Michigan City, Indiana; her sister, Karen Kesler of Rochester, Indiana; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and family. 

Funeral services for Joanne will be Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield. Interment will follow in the Marshfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be before services Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., in the funeral home.
