Darwin Jack Householder

Darwin Jack Householder of Bolivar, MO, was born on June 22, 1961 in Fort Wayne, IN, to Jack and Valerie (Chapman) Householder. He departed this life on July 19, 2026, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, MO, at the age of 65.

He had worked as an armored truck driver for Garda. He served in the United States Army.

Darwin was preceded in death by his father, Jack Householder and his sister, Diane Swindle.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Householder of Springfield; his mother, Valerie Householder of Bolivar; his son, Randall Owen Householder of Jonesboro, AR; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Duane Householder of Boise, ID; one sister, Debbie Strutton of Hartville; his aunt, Vivaleene Rush of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services with full military honors for Darwin Householder will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.
