Damon H. Jones

 
 

Damon Homer Jones, Fordland, was born on August 28, 1967 in Kansas City, KS to Clinton and Phyllis Jones. He departed this life on July 20, 2025 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 57.

Damon had worked as a paint and body shop tech at Ozark Kenworth for over 25 years. He was a 1986 Fordland High School graduate. Damon loved Star Wars and Sci-Fi, hummingbirds and classic cars. Most of all, he loved being a dad.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Jones.

Damon leaves behind his wife Christiane (Boushie) Jones, of the home; two daughters, Sydney Ashe and beloved son Wes of Fordland and Makana Ahlers, Casey and their two beautiful children of Jefferson City as well as his sister, Susan Gray and Bill of Springfield.  He also leaves behind his loving, extended family of Michael, Maralie, Clay and Jamie Boushie of Viburnum, MO in addition to his amazing nieces and nephew. He was never considered an in-law but simply a son and brother.

He is survived by his father, Clinton Jones and two brothers, Donald Jones and Dwayne Jones of Fordland.

Celebration of Life services will be at a later date under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.
