Calvin Roy Nance
Calvin Roy Nance of Springfield was born July 25, 1957, to Roy and Imogene (Paulk) Nance in Lubbock, TX. He departed this life Friday, April 10, 2026, at the age of 68 years.
Calvin served in the United States Army. He was a welder for many years. He often spoke of his homeplace where he was raised in Catoosa, Oklahoma. He enjoyed taking a drive and seeing new country. He loved to grill, listen to music, and play the harmonica. He loved motorcycles and even had a few Harley Davidsons. He was a tinker and loved to watch westerns. When he was younger, he enjoyed going deer hunting.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Clifton Mark Nance.
He is survived by his beloved companion of 32 years, Particia Letterman of Springfield; his daughter, Misty Nance of Springfield; his granddaughter, Yaritza X. Menjivar-Pinto of Springfield; and several other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be Friday, April 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., in Gentry Cemetery, Diggins, Missouri, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
