John Arthur O'Dell

John Arthur O’Dell, Marshfield, was born January 3, 1959, to Raymond John and Elizabeth Margaret (Hutton) O’Dell in Springfield, Missouri. He departed this life August 12, 2025, at the age of 66 years.

He worked for many years as the department manager for the City of Marshfield Wastewater Facility.  He was an avid hunter in his younger years.  He played countless softball games throughout the years.  He was a huge St Louis Cardinals fan and could often be found watching the game on the television while listening to the radio broadcast, he always preferred the radio announcers.     

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Janet Sue O’Dell, and Wanda Evans.

He is survived by three children; Casey Null and Chris of Lebanon, Ryan O’Dell and Emily of Bois D’Arc, Riley O’Dell of Brookland, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Avery Null, Hudson Null; his companion of 17 years, Faye Hall of Marshfield; one sister, Rhonda and John Cooper of Marshfield; one brother, Scott and Lori O’Dell of Ozark; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 16, 2025, from 11:00 – noon in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc, Marshfield.

Private family interment will be in Marshfield Cemetery under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
