Janet "Jan" Lenore Canfield

Janet Lenore Canfield was born on July 28, 1944, in Palo Alto, California, to Arden and Audrey (Merritt) Finch. She departed this life on August 7, 2025, in the Strafford Care Center at the age of 81.

Jan had worked as a truck driver for Consolidated Freight, as well as being a dog groomer. She was an avid animal lover. She enjoyed camping, sewing and painting. She was always up for a good time.

She was preceded in death by her husband Billy; her parents; her son, Tim Broughton; and a brother.

Jan is survived by her step-children, Marcie Whitlow and husband Dave, Marshfield, MO, Tammi Salmon, New Castle, CA; her children, Beverly Michaud, OR, Pat Michaud, OR, John Broughton, OR, and Matt Broughton and wife Stephanie, NC; grandchildren, Ron, Patrick Raymond, Sarah, Spencer, Isabelle, Megan and Brady; great-grandchildren, Cyrrus, Kaelynn, Kallie, Braydon, Ashley, Logan, Riley, Bodie and Ryder; great-great-grandchildren, Briston, Hudson and Oakley.

No services are planned. Cremation is entrusted to the care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, MO.
