Charles "Charlie" Jacob Medina

Charles “Charlie” Jacob Medina, Niangua, was born August 20, 1959, to Julio Santiago Medina, Sr., and Margaret Pelores (Robello) Medina. He departed this life August 5, 2025, in Mercy Hospital Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 65 years.

Charlie worked in construction for many years as a roofer. He enjoyed taking care of his property and gardening.

He is preceded in death by his father; his brother, Julio Medina, Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret Medina; his children, Charles Medina, Jr., of Niangua, Angelina N. Medina of Springfield, Matthew Medina of Santa Clara, California; his siblings, Gale Blasé (Tony) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dale Peneyra (Steven) of Niangua, Georgette Christenson (Stephen) of Marshfield, Patrick Medina of Tuscan, Arizona, Ronald Medina of Portland, Oregon; and one granddaughter.

Cremation is entrusted to the care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, Missouri.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mid America Transplant; Charlie’s final wishes were the generous act of being an organ donor.
