Fred C. Rister

Fred Clarence Rister, Marshfield, was born on October 22, 1936, in San Bernardino, CA, to Clarence and Ruby (Bunch) Rister. He departed this life on August 5, 2025, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 88.

Fred was a lifelong welder, farmer and pilot. He had served in the United States Navy. Fred was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Marshfield.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joan in 2023.

Fred is survived by two sons; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are pending and will be announced by Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
