Dennis Laroy Olson

Dennis Laroy Olson, Marshfield, was born April 27, 1953, in Grafton, North Dakota. He departed this life Friday, July 10, 2026, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, surrounded by family at the age of 73 years.

He served in the United States Marine Corps and in Vietnam. He was a longtime builder in the Marshfield Area.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Betty (Sherette) Brown; his wife, Deborah; his siblings, Gene Olson, Delbert Olson, Gary Olson, Carol Olson, and Marion Olson.

He is survived by his children, Jason Olson and Rebekah of Tulsa, Jarod Olson and Cindy of Marshfield, Jeremy Olson of Springfield; his brother-in-law, Tim and Cheryl Carlson of Marshfield; special nieces, Carrie Hopkins, Mindy Day and Mark; nine grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, Missouri.
