Steven Arthur Watters

Steven Arthur Watters, Strafford, was born on October 3, 1951, in Kansas City, MO, to Theron and Tresse (Harper) Watters. He departed this life on November 9, 2025, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, at the age of 74.

Steven owned and operated a print shop. He enjoyed country dancing and motorcycle rides. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ramona Watters; and his brother, Theron Allen Watters.

Steven is survived by his children, Mike Watters (Rachel) of Republic, Matt Watters (Michelle) of Marshfield, Michael Smith of Clearwater FL, and Brandon Watters (Mariah Smith) of Ozark; two siblings, Lynn Brown and husband Mark of Springfield and T.J. Tanksley of Springfield; nine grandchildren, Tim (Shania), Michaela, Shannon, Shawn, Lindsey, Brian. Bailey, Rory and Tyler; and great-grandchildren, Theron, Marcus, Atticus, Willow, and Hudson (who is on the way).

Celebration of Life Services will be held from 11:00 a.m.-noon on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.
