Melvin Willard Wells

Melvin Willard Wells, Marshfield, was born January 14, 1944, to Lloyd and Lema (Bass) Wells in Strafford, Missouri. He departed this life Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the age of 82 years.

He worked and retired from Reyco. Melvin enjoyed crappie and catfish fishing, hunting, and going on casino trips. He also loved grilling BBQ for his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Roxanna; one brother, Marvin Wells; one sister, Irlene Yarbrough.

He is survived by his children, William and Michelle Wells of Fair Grove, Marilyn and Mike Morgan of McKenzie, Tennessee, Dana and Terry Lockhart of Marshfield, Willard Wells of Chicago, Illinois; six grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Jason, Rache, Mathew, Taylor; fourteen great grandchildren.

Private interment will be in Marshfield Cemetery under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.
