Larry Wayne Ladd

Larry Wayne Ladd, Marshfield, was born on December 24, 1943, in Springfield, MO to Nile and Jeffie (McReynolds) Ladd. He departed this life on March 9, 2026, in Webco Manor at the age of 82.

Larry was united in marriage to Dorothy Hyder on January 3, 1970, in Mt. Vernon, MO.

Larry lived in Mansfield, MO, for many years. He worked as a CRNA at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia for most of his career. Larry was a history buff and had considered being a history teacher at one time. He was an avid reader. Larry also enjoyed fishing, horse races, and was a dog lover.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy Ladd; and his brother, Gary Ladd.

Larry is survived by two children, Jeff Ladd and wife Melanie of Marshfield, and Lisa Powell and husband John of Warsaw; three grandchildren, Josh Ladd and Mallory, Sarah Smith and Boden, and J.J. Powell; and one great-grandchild Freya Smith.

Private family services will be held at a later date under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.
