Betty Fern Chapman

Betty Fern Chapman, Springfield, was born October 30, 1931, to Crayton and Laura Alice (Patty) Chapman in Marshfield, Missouri. She departed this life on May 22, 2025, at 11:51 a.m., in The Maples, Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 93 years.

Betty was a Marshfield High School Graduate. She was a Registered Nurse and was the Supervisor of Nursing at Cox South Hospital for many years. She was also a member of High Street Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Billie Joe Chapman and Doris Elaine.

She is survived by her nephews and nieces, Marty (Debbie) Chapman, Susan (Jerry) Gamm, Lee (Kelly) Ledford, Liam Ledford, Luke Ledford, Ella Ledford, Jenny Fowler, John Fowler, Stephanie (Brock) Bailey, Austin (Ashley) Bailey, Addison Bailey, Ashtyn Bailey, Aria Bailey, Micah (Shaylen) Bailey, Tristan Bailey, Theodore Bailey, Elise (Ben) Luebbering, Garth Luebbering, Harvey Luebbering, Tim (Felicia) Gamm, Noah (Allison Hunter) Gamm, Avery Gamm, Hannah (Eli) Readnour, Jessica Kroencke, Breanne Kroencke, and Chloe Kroencke; and her dear friends, Helen and Reabeth.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., in Marshfield Cemetery, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, Missouri.
