Dorothy Johns
Dorothy Elaine Johns, daughter of Claude and Emma (Porter) Hoskins, was born January 12, 1952 in Springfield, MO. She passed away, with her family at her bedside, at 2:35 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2026 at Webco Manor at the age of 74.
Dorothy was a graduate of Fair Grove High School. She was a homemaker and took great pleasure in being a pastor’s wife. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Helen Mingus; and three brothers, Robert Hoskins, Roscoe Hoskins and Leo Hoskins.
Survivors include her husband, Pastor James Johns, Elkland; one daughter, Christina Wickman and her husband, Steven, Elkland; one granddaughter, Andrea Knittel and her husband Michael, Elkhorn, Neb.; one sister, Thelma Keithly, Springfield; one brother, Steve Hoskins and his wife Kathy, Springfield; and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Divine Compassion Church, Niangua, under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Elkland.
