She accepted Christ in her youth and was baptized on the confession of the faith. She was a faithful member of the Pleasant View Amish Mennonite Church at Buffalo, MO, at the time of her death.
On August 28, 1955, she was united in marriage to Howard Phillip Kropf, son of Alvin and Ella (Headings) Kropf near Tampico, Illinois. They shared life together for almost 46 years until his passing on July 21, 2001. To this union were born 7 children, Richard and wife Ellen, Liberty, KY, Rosalie and husband Loren Hostetler, Everton, MO, Harold and wife Carrie, Wellsville, MO, Vernon and wife Judy, Buffalo, MO, Edward (deceased) and wife Martha, Everton, MO, Edwin and wife Esther, Everton, MO and Sharon and husband Joseph Swartzentruber, Salem, AR.

Mom had a heart attack over the time of her sister-in-law, Elsie’s funeral in December of 2013. She had open heart surgery in May 2014, after which she needed increasing care and had multiple surgeries and a stroke. In October 2018, she needed full-time care; her family took turns by the day.
Sharon Grandma, was we fondly called her, had a friendly smile when we came, offering coffee and snacks to all, and the grandchildren looked forward to her faithful birthday cards, sent on time.
Grandma had a spiritual concern for her family and church. May we all meet in Heaven “Some Sweet Day.”
The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to all for the prayers, support and sympathy during the illness and passing of our loved one.
