Marilyn Louise Cologna-Wilson, 72, of Marshfield, Missouri, passed away December 17, 2018, after a six-month battle with cancer.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fraker Funeral home.  Visitation will be held at 6:00 pm, December 19th, and preceded with the reciting of the rosary at 5:30 pm at Fraker Funeral Home 1131 State Highway A, Marshfield, Mo.  The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, December 20th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Marshfield with Father Mark Binder officiating.  Burial services will follow the funeral at Marshfield cemetery. 

Marilyn Louise Cologna was born in Niangua, Mo. on August 8, 1946. She graduated from Marshfield High School in 1964. 

Marilyn was married to Gary Gene Wilson on January 20, 1969; they were married 49 years and 11 months.

Marilyn worked as a casket fabricator at York Casket Company for 23 years and later as an associate at Walmart for 10 years. More than anything, Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family, along with sewing and attending her children and grand-children’s sporting events.

Marilyn is survived by her husband Gary, daughter Nikki and husband Rodney Noel of Marshfield, son Kelly and wife Tina of Atoka, Tennessee, son Jason and wife Kim of Marshfield, and son Gary and wife Misty of Marshfield; her brother Charles Cologna and wife Martha of Marshfield, sister Joann and husband Joe Wilson of Olathe, Kansas, and sister Patti and husband Bob Carpenter of Strafford; her grand-children Baxter and Ben Noel, Presley, Jasielayne, and Wil Wilson, Maguire and Reese Wilson, and Landon and Aleeya Wilson; her great-grand-children Easton Noel and Grace Wilson as well as 13 nieces and nephews.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her father and mother Joseph Francis Cologna and Dorothy Florence Krier-Cologna of Marshfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marshfield School Backpack program.
