Doris Imogene Miller

Doris Imogene Miller of Strafford was born December 7, 1930, to Henry Everett and Mattie (Hedgepeth) Gann in Conway, Missouri. She departed this life Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in Strafford Care Center surrounded by family at the age of 95 years.

She was Technician for the Franciscan Medical Center for many years. She was a volunteer for the Senior Center and the OATS bus for several years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Miller; two sons, Jerry Miller, Don Miller; six siblings, Dean Gann, Donald Gann, Leonard Gann, Wayne Gann, Larry Gann, and Baby Gann.

She is survived by two children, Diane Richardson of Springfield, Joy Chuich and James of Marshfield; adopted daughter, Judy Francescon-Groene of Advance, Missouri, six grandchildren, Jeremi Miller, Nick Miller, Sunny Anne Chuich, Jessica Richardson, Janelle Richardson, Jared Richardson; eleven great-grandchildren, one sister, Elaine Mahan and Joe of Kansas City, Missouri; several nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the staff at Strafford Care Center and Preferred Hospice for their kindness and loving care.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield.

Visitation will be before services Wednesday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., in the funeral home.

Interment will follow services in Marlin Cemetery under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
